Typical Session

At Rock Bottom, there is no “typical session”. Working with a Personal Trainer assures you of that! We strive to keep your mind engaged while giving your body a terrific workout. Our goal is to help you achieve your best fitness level. Regardless, each training appointment lasts roughly 1 hour and you can expect to start each session with a light cardio warm-up on one of our treadmills, elliptical trainers, or bikes. If you’re not hip to the machines, we’ll gladly share one of our jumpropes or do some jumping jacks with you! Either way, you want to get a nice warm-up before we launch into a strength & conditioning session matched to your goals & abilities.

Throughout the session, we check form and ensure you are getting the most out of the work-out. Need more weight? Working around a nagging ankle injury? We’ll adjust to your needs! Toward the end of the hour, we’ll be sure you get a good stretch before you get back to your day. Of course, if you want to arrive early or stay late to get in some extra cardio, we’re all for it!
